報道指個別外資銀行收緊佣金收入為主客戶按揭審批
《信報》報道,個別外資銀行近日收緊按揭審批,就以沒有固定收入、依賴佣金收入為主的客戶的入息審查,將申請人過往一段時間佣金平均數的「參考收入」給予的折讓幅度,自最少20%提升至近40%,令壓力測試更難過關。報道並指,有銀行對依賴浮動薪酬人士的入息證明文件要求,自過往的6個月增加至12個月,甚至更長時間,以管理按揭風險。
報道引述金管局發言人指,未留意到有上述趨勢,未來會向銀行了解最新情況,又指在新冠肺炎疫情爆發以來,銀行一直對受疫情影響導致財政困難的個人客戶抱支持態度,並響應金管局呼籲推出一系列紓緩措施,包括按揭貸款「還息不還本」以協助客戶渡過目前困境。
