保誠(02378.HK)旗下瀚亞完成收購THANACHART FUND股份實現強強聯手
格隆匯2月13日丨保誠(02378.HK)發佈公告，保誠旗下亞洲資產管理業務瀚亞投資2020年2月13日於曼谷舉行的活動中慶祝其正式完成向Thanachart Bank Public Company Ltd.及Government Savings Bank收購Thanachart Fund Management Co., Ltd.的50.1%股權。該公司將更名為ThanachartFund Eastspring，以反映兩間公司強強聯手。
此項收購於2019年12月27日完成，令瀚亞同時持有Thanachart Fund Eastspring及TMBAMEastspring的股權，成為泰國第四大資產管理人，佔有12%的市場份額，管理資產合計達6,680億泰銖（220億美元）。
英國保誠集團亞洲執行總裁Nic Nicandrou表示：作為亞洲主要壽險公司及資產管理人，保誠致力協助客户保障健康及實現財富的增長。此項收購將有助公司提供一系列創革性定製投資機遇，同時為加快該集團於該重要市場的發展提供平台。
Nicandrou先生表示：此項收購亦是對瀚亞收購TMB Asset Management（現為TMBAM Eastspring）的65%股權的補充。公司在不斷髮展的泰國市場上收購了頗具吸引力的業務，有關交易更加深了公司與TMB及TBANK的關係。
TMB 執行總裁Piti Tantakasem 表示：公司欣然與瀚亞發展合作伙伴關係。自2018年開始與瀚亞合作以來，TMBAM Eastspring的管理資產已增長超過20%，並在公司業務史上規模最大的首次公開發行中，透過TMB Eastspring Global Smart Bond Fund 及 Thanachart Eastspring Global Technology Fund獲得大量客户及鉅額新資金。
Piti 先生表示：公司期待未來與TMBAM Eastspring 及 Thanachart Fund Eastspring展開合作。兩家企業投資優勢互補性，加上TMB 與 TBANK整合後近900個網點的協同效應及業務規模，將為泰國客户提供更多投資工具及更經濟實惠的投資選擇，有助他們實現更穩健的財務狀況。
據悉，Thanachart Fund 的優勢在於積極管理的股票、多元資產、貨幣市場及固定收益方面，而TMBAM Eastspring則在消極管理的股票、物業、固定收益及外國投資基金方面具備雄厚實力。泰國是東盟地區規模最大及增速最快的資產管理市場之一 ，原因是中產階層不斷壯大，民眾日益富裕，加上根深蒂固的儲蓄文化，以及互惠基金滲透率遠低於發展程度更高的市場。
