新濠國際發展(00200.HK)：終止購入額外6767.5萬股Crown Resorts股份
格隆匯2月6日丨新濠國際發展(00200.HK) 宣佈，於2020年2月6日，CPH 及新濠博亞娛樂已同意終止根據售股協議購買第二批股份(佔 Crown Resorts 已發行股本約9.99%)的責任。由於該終止，儘管新濠博亞娛樂目前持有 6767.5萬股 Crown Resorts 股份(佔 Crown Resorts 已發行股本約 9.99%)，其將不再收購原先根據售股協議而協定將予收購之額外 6767.5萬股 Crown Resorts 股份(亦佔 CrownResorts 已發行股本約 9.99%)(即第二批股份)。新濠博亞娛樂現時不擬從目前的水平增持其在 Crown Resorts 的股權。新濠博亞娛樂亦不擬在 Crown Resorts 的董事會中尋求代表席位。
在新濠博亞娛樂向美國證券交易委員會提交的日期為2020年2月6日的表格 6-K中，新濠博亞娛樂宣佈，由於冠狀病毒流行的影響，包括前往區內綜合度假設施的亞洲旅客量急降，以及中國澳門特別行政區政府最近決定澳門所有娛樂場暫時停業，新濠博亞娛樂已決定重新評估將於2020年作出的所有非核心投資。
此項決定反映出新濠博亞娛樂堅守其對僱員、客户、業務夥伴和其他持份者的承諾，並嚴格履行本身之責任，直至是次對其大部分客户羣產生顯着影響之全球公共健康危機消退和相關旅遊限制解除為止。
新濠博亞娛樂認為其核心營運為其所管理及身為大股東的業務。此包括在澳門、菲律賓和塞浦路斯的營運，以及其為獲得在日本經營新濠博亞娛樂擁有的綜合度假村之牌照而致力進行的工作。新濠博亞娛樂擬繼續在此等司法權區之營運，並進行目前對澳門、馬尼拉、塞浦路斯和日本劃定的重要投資，包括新濠影滙第二期和 City of Dreams Mediterranean 的建設。在整個亞洲的營運和業務恢復正常之前，新濠博亞娛樂管理層將繼續把重點放在新濠博亞娛樂的此等關鍵領域。
基於上述原因，新濠博亞娛樂決定不繼續進行涉及第二批股份之原訂澳洲投資計劃。新濠博亞娛樂相信，Crown Resorts 擁有與新濠博亞娛樂全球業務相輔相成的世界一流資產，惟當此之時，新濠博亞娛樂相信其資本需要投放在其核心資產上。
