港交所(00388.HK)场外结算公司成为日本金融厅认可海外衍生产品结算机构
港交所(00388.HK)宣布，旗下为场外衍生产品交易提供结算服务的附属公司香港场外结算有限公司已获批准向日资银行提供客户结算服务，为场外衍生产品清算和结算服务的领域增添新机遇。
场外结算公司已获日本金融厅(JFSA)发出牌照成为认可的海外衍生产品结算机构，可向日资银行提供结算服务，日资银行对场外结算公司提供的交叉货币掉期服务需求殷切。经场外结算公司结算的交叉货币掉期，可助银行大幅降低资金成本，提高市场参与份额。
港交所联席总裁及首席营运总监戴志坚表示，日资金融机构是场外衍生产品市场重要的参与者，这次所获的认可是场外结算公司发展的重要里程碑，肯定了港交所致力拓展亚洲区内以至全球固定收益和货币业务的工作，也再次证明了国际监管机构对场外结算公司的认可。
除日本以外，场外结算公司亦已获美国、欧盟和澳洲的相关认可，允许向其金融机构提供结算服务。
与此同时，场外结算公司欢迎巴克莱银行成为结算会员以及第6家欧资结算会员。
戴志坚续说：「场外结算公司欢迎巴克莱加入成为会员，亦很高兴看到市场参与者能够善用场外结算公司独特的人民币衍生产品中央结算方案。作为亚洲时区的领先结算所，港交所致力连系内地银行与环球资本市场，进一步扩大场外衍生产品参与者的渠道。」
巴克莱银行的香港宏观交易主管施嘉铭说：「巴克莱很高兴成为港交所旗下场外结算公司的结算会员。凭藉其完善的会员网络，场外结算公司已成为行业发展的重要动力。作为创始股东之一，巴克莱银行期待通过场外结算公司结算，为巴克莱在区内的交易对手提供更大的准入空间，满足其对离岸人民币的需求。」
场外结算公司於2013年成立，是多国司法管辖区认可的合格中央对手方，为美元、欧元、境外人民币、港币以及主要新兴市场货币的利率及汇率衍生产品提供中央结算服务。2019年，场外结算公司的业务持续繁忙，总结算量较2018年大幅增长逾60%至1,960亿美元，其中交叉货币掉期的结算量录得增幅逾45%至660亿美元。
