零售管理協會籲業主減租一半為期半年 憂示威持續或現裁員及結業潮
零售管理協會主席謝邱安儀出席電台節目後表示,近期受示威活動影響,商場人流亦有減少,但僅太古(01972.HK)及希慎(00014.HK)有意調整租金,而街舖情況則較好,部分業主願意減租10%-30%,為期一至三個月,她呼籲業主減租一半,為期半年。同時她亦認為政府應在電費等方面較全面地協助業界。
她預期9月零售銷售跌幅有機會放緩,主要因為去年同期基數較低,但10月跌幅將很誇張,並會持續雙位數百分比的跌幅,因為很多零售商於傳統黃金周旺期季期間均需要提早關門,憂慮示威活動持續會令業界出現裁員及結業潮。
最近港鐵經常提早關閉,加上為保障員工,不少零售商亦因應示威活動而提早關門,認為現時經營環境已十分差,針對有傳政府考慮實施宵禁令,她認為對業界不會有很大影響。
