旅发局正筹备「香港再出发」计划 冀重振旅客信心
旅游发展局主席彭耀佳表示,旅发局正与业界筹备一个大型的「香港再出发」计划,目的是让全世界知道,香港是适合旅游,希望重振旅客来港旅游的信心。
他又指出,政府有一系列的措施帮助业界,如由10月1日起,业界可以免费参加所有旅发局举办的海外推广计划,政府亦会向外国旅客推广香港旅游,表达香港仍然安全的讯息。
彭耀佳称,业界预测9至10月的访港数字仍会下滑,原因是示威活动持续,加上外国传媒亦有报道。他认为,事件平息後,访港旅客数字会回升。
