波音首次因737MAX客机停飞遭客户入禀索偿
英国《金融时报》报道,俄罗斯国企Rostec旗下Avia Capital Service入禀美国芝加哥库克郡巡回法院,就波音737 MAX客机停飞造成的损失向波音公司索偿,为首宗同类个案。入禀状指波音公司未能向客户公开涉事机款的适航性,诱使他们购买该款客机。
原告共订购35架波音737 MAX 8客机,现时要求取消订单,取回预订按金3,500万美元连利息,同时赔偿7,500万美元盈利损失,合共1.15亿美元,另加数倍数额的惩罚性补偿。报道指,原告及被告在该款客机停飞前,已同意押後交接其中33架客机。
原告代表律师亦代表波音737 MAX客机两宗空难的部分死者家属。
