澳洲將YouTube納入青少年社交媒體禁令
澳洲政府宣布,將Alphabet(GOOGL.US)旗下YouTube將被納入青少年社交媒體禁令。澳洲去年通過法案,禁止16歲以下未成年人使用Facebook、Instagram、Snapchat及TikTok等社交媒體,但不包括YouTube。
澳洲網路監管機構上月敦促政府推翻對YouTube的豁免,因研究發現37%的10至15歲兒童曾在該平台上看到有害內容,這一比例在所有社交媒體網站上最高。
YouTube發言人表示,公司將考慮下一步行動,並將繼續與政府合作,強調公司在解決及減少網絡危害
方面與政府的目標一致,認為YouTube是一個影片分享平台,並不是社交媒體。
