達美航空(DAL.US)拆新飛機引掣救舊機 避關稅運回美國重用
達美航空(DAL.US)近日被揭發在歐洲「拆機救機」,從新購的空中巴士A321neo客機上拆除美國製造的引掣,運回美國安裝至因引擎問題而停飛的舊機上,以解燃眉之急,同時避免支付進口關稅。
據知情人士透露,該批原裝由美國Pratt & Whitney製造的引掣,因屬「美國製造」可免除關稅運回美國國內使用。被拆去引掣的新飛機則暫時滯留歐洲,部分更因座椅尚未獲監管機構認證,未能投入服役。
達美部分A320neo系列舊機因原有渦輪故障而需更換引擎,該種「以新救舊」的方式成爲權宜之計。有關新機日後或可隨美歐貿易談判進展,免稅運回美國。
