奈飛流失100萬西班牙用戶
市場研究機構Kantar的數據顯示，奈飛(NFLX.US)今年頭三個月在西班牙流失了100多萬用戶，這表明這家流媒體巨頭打擊賬戶共享的舉措可能會適得其反。2月初，奈飛向西班牙用戶收取每月5.99歐元(合6.57美元)的共享密碼賬戶費用，並採取技術措施檢測共享行爲。根據Kantar對家庭流媒體習慣的調查，此舉與用戶減少逾100萬有關，其中三分之二的用戶使用的是別人的賬戶密碼。
Kantar全球調查主管Dominic Sunnebo表示，很明顯，這種急劇下降是由於打擊共享賬戶造成的，一百萬用戶的損失，即使大多數不是付費用戶，對奈飛的節目和服務的口碑推薦來說將是一個打擊。
根據Kantar的研究，第一季度取消訂閱的數量是前一季度的三倍。在西班牙剩餘的奈飛用戶中，有十分之一的人表示他們計劃在第二季度取消訂閱。奈飛還在葡萄牙、加拿大和新西蘭等幾個拉美國家推出類似的收費。
奈飛在4月18日發佈的第一季度財報中表示:“當我們宣佈這一消息時，每個市場都出現了取消訂閱的反應。”該公司預計，在沒有付費的用戶開始註冊自己的賬戶之前，這種下降只是暫時的。
奈飛還表示:“在加拿大，我們認爲這是美國的一個可靠的預測指標，我們的付費會員基礎現在比推出付費共享服務之前更大，收入增長也在加速，現在的增長速度比美國更快。”
根據奈飛的數據，全球有超過1億人使用不付費的賬戶。該公司沒有按國家細分這一數字。上週，奈飛在第一季度的新增用戶數量沒有達到預期，但該公司表示，共享密碼監管計劃和更便宜的帶有廣告的流媒體版本將在2023年下半年加速增長。
此外，奈飛在西班牙語內容上的投資似乎正在獲得回報。據Kantar稱，在2023年的前三個月，西班牙收視率最高的五部電視劇中有兩部可以在奈飛平臺上觀看。該公司於2019年在馬德里開設了第一個歐洲生產中心，到去年年底，該工廠的規模擴大了一倍。
