AI聊天機器人爆火
“閱後即焚”照片分享應用Snapchat的母公司Snap(SNAP.US)週三表示，Snapchat+訂閱服務吸引了300多萬用戶，該服務每月收費3.99美元，可讓用戶搶先體驗其新的人工智能(AI)聊天機器人等功能。Snap表示，這一增長超出了公司的預期，其中包括在過去11周內增加了約100萬付費用戶。
據悉，Snap於去年推出Snapchat+訂閱服務。今年2月，Snap推出一款由OpenAI的ChatGPT技術驅動的AI聊天機器人My AI，向Snapchat+的用戶開放。
Snap首席執行官Evan Spiegel表示:“我們從未想過我們的用戶會增長到300萬。”“我們基本上看到的是，當我們發佈新功能時，會有更多的人對註冊或試用Snapchat+感到興奮。我們確實看到了My AI的良好發展勢頭。”
Snap週三表示，該公司將很快向所有用戶開放My AI功能，而不僅僅是訂戶。
Spiegel表示，他的“中期目標”是讓Snapchat+訂戶達到1000萬。迄今爲止的進展表明，Snap在社交媒體公司面臨的一個具有挑戰性的領域取得了進展:讓用戶付費。
推特老闆埃隆·馬斯克一直想吸引用戶使用Twitter Blue訂閱服務。與此同時，Meta Platforms今年2月開始在Instagram和Facebook上測試訂閱捆綁服務，但尚未公佈付費用戶數據。
與其他社交媒體公司一樣，Snap也在尋求抵消廣告收入放緩的影響。該公司的整體銷售增長在去年年底陷入停滯，預計2023年上半年收入將下降。
Snap正在通過裁員和剔除非優先項目來應對經濟下滑。這意味着Snap要把重點重新放在增加用戶數量和收入，以及增強現實技術上。
按每月4美元計算，300萬訂戶產生的收入還不到1.5億美元。Snap去年的總收入爲46億美元，擁有7.5億用戶。
據報道，爲了吸引創作者，Snap還計劃擴大用戶廣告分成計劃。現在，所有年滿18歲的用戶都可以在Snapchat上公開發布內容。Snap將會在用戶內容中插入廣告，作者將收到一定比例的廣告費分成。
