國際家居零售(01373.HK)冀政府以智慧思考推消費稅時機 口罩業務銷量理想有盈利
對於近日政府「放風」建議加稅,國際家居零售(01373.HK)主席及行政總裁魏麗霞在網上會議表示,政府考慮加稅有其原因,不過希望香港可發揮以往低稅的強項,保持市場蓬勃,並認為目前市場不明朗因素多,商戶面對市道不景及租金成本等壓力,期望政府在可能情況下保持低稅。
被問及政府或開徵消費稅,她指多個國家有消費稅,作為零售商若政府開徵會積極配合,但期望政府在可能下維持簡單低稅制,並稱於目前環境政府要以智慧思考推消費稅的時機,因現時市場已相當脆弱。
她又提到集團去年因應疫情開始生產自家口罩,目前有四條生產線,主要於香港、澳門及新加坡銷售,口罩銷量理想達七位數字,業務亦錄得盈利,未來冀更好控制原材料成本,並加強與企業合作及考慮作批發。
另外,魏麗霞指旗下「日本城」店舖過去二十年都有銷售年花,由於政府突然宣布取消年宵花市,集團分店今年將擴大銷售年花規模,且樂意與受影響花農合作。
