港鐵10月載客量跌近15% 創7年半新低
格隆匯11月21日丨據香港商報,修例風波逾5個月,暴力破壞持續不斷,港鐵遭受重創,多次被迫封站及提早收車以便維修遭毀設施。港鐵今日公佈,10月乘客量下跌約25%,較前一個月暴跌近15%,創7年半以來最低紀錄。港鐵公佈10月份乘客量紀錄,本地服務全月共約1.084億人次,較9月的1.269億人次,少約1859萬人次,下跌約14.6%,創2012年4月以來最低紀錄。平日的日均客量則為432.7萬人次,亦較9月的461萬下跌6.2%,是2014年以來新低。週日平均有432萬人次乘客量,亦較9月份及去年同期低。
