TCL電子(01070.HK)美國市場穩居第二 挑戰第一寶座
作為全球領先的智能電視品牌製造商TCL電子(01070.HK)目前在智能電視、互聯網服務、智能家居及商用顯示等業務上擁有明顯優勢,當中又以電視機業務最為突出。回顧2019年上半年,按全球電視出貨量市佔率計算,TCL電子僅次於三星,排名全球第二。
更為關鍵的是,近年來海外市場的持續突破已經成為公司電視機業務發展的重要驅動引擎。其中,北美市場已經成為公司在海外發展最為重要的陣地之一,上半年TCL電子在該市場的銷售量同比強勁增長75%。專注於消費者購物趨勢研究的權威諮詢機構NPD指出,TCL電子品牌電視機在美國市場的銷量佔有率穩居前二,僅次於三星,且與三星的差距已大幅縮小。
根據NPD最新數據顯示,2019年首三季度,TCL電子品牌電視機在美國的銷量市佔率同比提升3.3個百分點至16.5%,穩居前二;而排名第一的三星則由去年的22.3%下降2.8個百分點至19.5%, TCL品牌電視機銷量市佔率與三星的差距由去年同期的9.1個百分點大幅縮小至3個百分點;且在3月份和7月份,TCL品牌電視機單月銷量數據均超越三星,在美國市場銷量排名第一。
此外,同樣來自於NPD的最新數據,TCL電子自2018年11月進入加拿大市場,不到一年的時間內,在加拿大當地的銷量排名迅速攀升至前五,首三季度銷量市佔率達7.5%。
據公告所示,2019年上半年,海外地區的TCL品牌電視機銷售量同比增長49.8%至707萬台,營業額同比上升32.5%至107.7億港元。另外,在公司公佈上半年的靚麗的業績數據後,東英、中金、瑞信、國元、興業和第一上海等賣方機構紛紛發表研究報告表示看好,對公司整體業績,尤其是海外業務的表現給予了高度肯定。
此前仍有不少投資者對TCL電子正日益上行的海外業務感到不確定性,主要因擔心中美貿易摩擦事件會壓制或削弱公司在北美市場的良好發展勢頭,但根據上半年業績公告及權威諮詢機構最新調研的數據來看,逆勢突破加速的情形再次超越了公眾預期,因此各種擔憂、疑慮與爭議的聲音或可休矣!
可以肯定的是,TCL電子在海外市場發展的動能充足,而其北美市場超越三星的勢頭和潛力正在逐漸顯現,相信背後除了營銷策略得當之外,TCL電子品牌電視機在產品質量、互聯網服務的優勢、使用體驗以及品牌美譽度持續獲得北美市場消費者普遍認可應該是重要因素,因而我們認為公司在海外市場的發展趨勢仍會再次加固。
