恆地(00012.HK)向政府借出錦田江夏圍棕地建過渡性房屋
恆地(00012.HK)執行董事黃浩明出席研討會時表示,恆地將向政府借出一幅位於錦田江夏圍的棕地興建過渡性房屋,項目鄰近西鐵錦上路站,選址面積有42.8萬平方呎,預計可興建2,000個過渡房屋單位,容納約7,000至8,000人。
項目將交由非政府組織營運,附近有市集及街市等市政設施,亦會研究增設兒童圖書館、社區中心及遊樂設施等,照顧基層兒童的需要。恆地指,項目由政府投資,恆地沒有從中收益。
