麥迪森控股(08057.HK)擬向億邦收購不超1億美元區塊鏈設備及將設投資基金投資區塊鏈項目
格隆匯10月28日丨麥迪森控股(08057.HK)公佈，於2019年10月28日，公司與浙江億邦通信科技有限公司訂立一份不具法律約束力諒解備忘錄，據此，公司擬向億邦收購區塊鏈計算設備；公司擬透過其附屬公司管理投資基金，以投資於區塊鏈行業的公司及項目；及訂約方擬進行區塊鏈技術應用的研究及開發。
根據諒解備忘錄，訂約方同意公司將於2020年12月31日前，向億邦收購總金額不超過1億美元的區塊鏈計算設備、加密貨幣採礦機及計算芯片。億邦亦將向該公司提供優惠價格及技術指導；該公司將成立將由公司全資附屬公司CVP Asset Management Limited管理的投資基金，以投資於區塊鏈行業的公司及項目。訂約方將為區塊鏈投資基金的種子投資者。第三方投資者亦將獲招攬，目標基金總規模為不少於5億美元。
區塊鏈投資基金將主要投資於有關以下各項的公司及項目：(1)製造具高運算效能的計算芯片；(2)製造區塊鏈計算設備；(3)採礦池；(4)採礦場；(5)區塊鏈金融應用；及(6)其他投資基金，其為區塊鏈行業的主要領域；及3.訂約方將進行區塊鏈技術於各方面的應用的研究及開發，包括但不限於5G技術、人工智能、大數據、物聯網、數據共享、電子政府、智慧城市、金融及其他相關方面的應用。
此外，訂約方將合作探索區塊鏈行業的趨勢、研究及開發區塊鏈技術及其應用，以及培育區塊鏈行業人才。
據悉，億邦為專用集成電路(ASIC)芯片的最大製造商之一。億邦主要從事研究及開發、生產及銷售數據通訊設備及區塊鏈計算設備。億邦亦從事區塊鏈應用、人工智能數據處理器及5G技術的區塊鏈解決方案。
公司稱，為迴應區塊鏈於中國的最新發展，董事會相信，潛在業務合作乃為該公司彰顯其獨特定位的創舉，利用其互補性的金融服務及區塊鏈業務以及其強大關係網絡識別可盈利商機，令該集團能夠進一步擴大其區塊鏈及金融服務業務，併為該集團帶來長期價值。
