Minimum Trading Unit for US Stock Options

Options are traded in contracts, with the minimum trading unit typically being 1 contract.

Under normal circumstances, 1 options contract represents 100 shares of the underlying stock. However, in the event of corporate actions such as stock splits, reverse stock splits, or special dividends, the contract multiplier may be adjusted to represent a number of shares other than 100.

Please refer to the contract specifications and the information displayed in the App for the applicable contract details.
