比爾·蓋茨：未來是AI個人助理的時代，谷歌亞馬遜們將被取代

5月22日週一，微軟公司聯合創始人比爾·蓋茨週一表示，當前IT技術競賽的最終贏家是頂級人工智能，它將顛覆搜索引擎、生產力軟件和在線購物網站。
蓋茨認爲，未來的人工智能個人助理將影響深遠，第一家開發出這一產品的公司將在當前的AI競賽中脫穎而出。他說，這項技術可以從根本上改變用戶行爲，使人們再也不需要訪問搜索網站、使用某些生產力工具或在亞馬遜上購物。
蓋茨說：
以後人們再也不會去搜索網站了，也永遠不會去亞馬遜。
蓋茨表示，谷歌、亞馬遜等科技巨頭對此心知肚明。
不過，蓋茨認爲，這個強大的數字個人助理成爲主流還需要一段時間。
蓋茨表示，如果當前的人工智能競賽中微軟沒有參與，他會感到失望。儘管有50%的可能性，最終這場競賽的贏家將是一家初創公司。他表示，Reid Hoffman與他人共同創立的Inflection AI給他留下了深刻印象。
蓋茨說：
無論誰贏得了這場競賽，成爲AI個人助理的開發者，都是一件大事。
蓋茨預計，這種AI個人助理將能夠理解用戶的需求和習慣，並幫助他們“閱讀你沒有時間閱讀的東西”。
他預計，在AI個人助理成爲主流之前，各家公司會繼續將類似於ChatGPT的生成式人工智能技術嵌入到產品中。
關於AI個人助理的想法，這也不是蓋茨第一次提出來。早在今年2月，蓋茨就表示，科技巨頭將創造個人助理，取代直接去找亞馬遜或直接去找Siri或Outlook。它瞭解個人所有的需求，給予幫助並提供建議。
蓋茨表示：
谷歌擁有搜索，亞馬遜擁有購物，微軟擁有生產力，蘋果擁有蘋果設備上的一切。但是一旦你有了這個個人助理，就會把這些獨立的市場整合成——‘嘿，我只需要一個個人助理，它可以幫助我購物、做計劃、撰寫文件，並以豐富的方式在我的設備上工作’。
週一，蓋茨還討論了與他在比爾和梅琳達蓋茨基金會工作相關的醫療健康工作，稱人工智能將加速該領域的創新，並促進更先進的藥物開發。
儘管人類大腦的內部運作對科學家來說仍然是個謎，但這蓋茨認爲，人類正在接近創造出治療阿爾茨海默氏症等疾病的有用藥物，新藥的人體試驗可能會在10年內進行甚至完成。
他還認爲，當前的生成式AI將成爲白領工作的遊戲規則改變者。 蓋茨補充說，他相信未來公司使用的人形機器人比人類員工更便宜，也會極大地影響藍領工人。
蓋茨說：
當我們發明這些機器人時，我們只需要確保它們不會患上老年癡呆症。
蓋茨向來對人工智能技術青睞有加。他曾撰文稱，AI時代已經開啓，人工智能革命重要程度不亞於手機和互聯網的誕生，這是其一生中唯二的革命性技術進步：
第一次是在1980年，當時我看到現代圖形用戶界面 (GUI)，這後來成爲我構建微軟Windows操作系統的基石。
第二次是在2022年年中，我對OpenAI團隊及其生成式AI模型發起了挑戰，要求其做一些沒有經過訓練或編程的測試，結果令人驚豔。
